SERHA Vows to Deliver South East Votes for Tinubu in 2027

The South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has pledged to reverse the region’s historical voting trend against the All Progressives Congress (APC) and secure widespread support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The group made this commitment on Saturday in Umuahia during the inauguration and empowerment of its coordinators across the 17 local government areas of Abia State.
Speaking at the event, the national coordinator of SERHA, Belusochukwu Enwere, said the South East could no longer afford to remain in opposition if it hoped to benefit from accelerated development under Tinubu’s administration.
Enwere noted that previous “top-to-bottom” vote canvassing strategies had failed to yield the desired results in the zone, prompting SERHA to adopt a grassroots approach to mobilise support.
“This approach is a game changer,” he said. “We are empowering those who are working to grow this vision.”
According to him, President Tinubu is deliberately transferring political and economic opportunities to young people through appointments and empowerment programmes.
Enwere also announced plans to launch SERHA structures in other South East states and urged the newly inaugurated Abia coordinators to begin work immediately to secure overwhelming support for the president in the region.
