RAMADAN: Islamic Leaders Advocates Peace and Unity

A Former Commissioner for Religious Affairs Zamfara State and an Islamic scholar, Dr Muhammad Jangebe has urged Muslim faithfuls to intensify prayers for peace and stability in the Country.
Dr Tukur Jangebe , Islamic schola made the call while speaking with journalist in Gusau also called on Muslims to use the period to help the needy with food items to ease their suffering during the Ramadan.
Dr Tukur also called on governments, security agencies to fish out the perpetrators killings across the country by all means.
Similiarly, Hajiya Zainab Idris, wife of the Kebbi State Governor urged Muslim Ummah and especially the wealthy individuals to support the less privilege during the month of Ramadan.
She gave charge at the 6th Annual Pre-Ramadan Lecture organized by the Nigeria Television Authority NTA Birnin Kebbi, urging Muslims to intensify prayers during the month for Allah to bring to an end insecurity in the Country.
