President Tinubu Receives Prestigious Knight Title In Saint Lucia

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been conferred with the title of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (KCOSL).

The honour was officially announced on Monday, June 30, in a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip Pierre.

According to the statement, the title was bestowed by the Governor General of Saint Lucia, with the government expressing its delight in recognizing the Nigerian leader.

“BREAKING: The Government of Saint Lucia is pleased to announce that the Governor General has conferred the title of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (KCOSL) upon H.E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the statement read.

In a follow-up post on X, the Prime Minister’s Office noted that President Tinubu’s presence in the country inspired pride and optimism, adding that Saint Lucia and Nigeria are taking active steps to strengthen ties across the African continent.

“A sense of pride and promise filled the room following President Tinubu’s exciting announcements and the government’s deliberate efforts to forge new bonds with Nigeria and other African nations,” the post stated.
