Portable defeats Speed Darlington in celebrity boxing match

Controversial singer, Portable defeats colleague, Speed Darlington in the highly anticipated celebrity boxing match, claiming the Street King title.
The controversy that led to the boxing match between Portable and Speed Darlington erupted after Speed Darlington offered Portable ₦500,000 to perform at his concert, sparking a heated exchange.
However, Portable rejected the offer, demanding ₦20 million and claimed it was his standard performance fee.
The feud intensified when Portable labeled Speed Darlington ‘poor’ due to the low payment offer, prompting him to challenge Speed Darlington to a boxing match, which was promptly accepted.
Moreover, videos from the boxing match held at the Balmoral Convention Center in Lagos on April 18, 2025, have circulated online.
After being declared the winner, a triumphant moment ensued as he celebrated by kneeling, while clutching the belt.
Speed Darlington’s night took a turn for the worse after the match, as he departed with a broken arm wrapped in bandages, prompting a wave of reactions online.
