It was a night of glitz, energy, and raw talent as Platoon 7 stole the spotlight at the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II NYSC Camp Idol competition held at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos.
The show, sponsored by Minimie Chinchin, drew an enthusiastic crowd of corps members, camp officials, and special guests, all eager to witness the creativity and brilliance of the young participants. From music and spoken word to dance and comedy, the event served as a powerful reminder of the immense talent Nigeria’s youth hold.
In a fiercely contested showdown, Platoon 7 emerged as the overall champion, walking away with a cash prize of ₦100,000, amid roaring applause and celebrations from their supporters. Platoon 6 came in a close second, clinching ₦60,000, while Platoon 4 secured third place and a ₦40,000 reward.

The evening reached its peak when renowned Nigerian comedian Kenny Blaq delivered a rib-cracking performance that left the entire camp buzzing with laughter. In a heartwarming gesture, he gifted all contestants free tickets to his upcoming comedy special, Oxymoron of KennyBlaq 5.0, adding more sparkle to an already memorable night.
