Phyna Accuses Dangote Group of Backtracking on Agreement to Fly Injured Sister Abroad

Reality star Phyna has shared a troubling update about her sister’s condition, accusing the Dangote Group of reneging on an earlier agreement to fly her abroad for treatment.
The former BBNaija star had previously raised an alarm after her sister was seriously injured when hit by a Dangote truck, leaving her unconscious. In her latest update, Phyna revealed that her sister remains unconscious and in critical condition.
Phyna explained that she had been in constant communication with the Dangote Group, providing updates on her sister’s medical reports. However, when she suggested transferring her sister abroad for treatment, she alleges the group requested a report from her current hospital in Lagos, claiming they could not handle her there.
Expressing her frustration, Phyna said the request contradicted their original agreement, which was for her sister to be stabilized in Nigeria before being flown abroad for proper care. She shared her ordeal in a long post, highlighting the urgency of her sister’s condition:
“We had an agreement that my sister would only be in Lagos for stabilization while we prepared for her travel. The hospital confirmed she can be moved. Yet they asked for a report saying they cannot handle her. My sister’s lungs have fluid, her reproductive organs are crushed, and her bladder is damaged. Every day we pray she survives the next, and now they’re delaying under pretext of paperwork. I cannot gamble with her life.”
Phyna also called out the apparent double standards, questioning why such procedures would be required if it were the child of the Dangote family. She criticized the insistence on additional reports as unnecessary stress during a critical medical situation and stated that all travel documents for her sister were already prepared.
The reality star vowed to focus entirely on her sister’s treatment and indicated she would soon share further demands to ensure proper care.
