Peller Sacks Cameraman With Master’s Degree for Showing Up With Luggage

Content creator and streamer Peller has opened up about the surprising reason he fired his newly hired cameraman barely a week into the job — despite the man having a master’s degree.
Speaking in a recent chat with skit-maker Carter Efe, Peller recounted how the cameraman, whom he hired after publicly seeking a qualified applicant with a postgraduate degree, overstepped boundaries shortly after getting the job.
According to him, he had paid the cameraman ₦500,000 as an upfront fee, only for the man to show up at his residence unannounced with his luggage, asking for a place to stay.
“I gave him 500K upfront. Then he came to our house with his bags, saying he had nowhere to sleep because he was chased out. He wanted me to help him. What kind of talk is that? That place isn’t even mine. If it was my house, maybe he could stay,” Peller explained.
The streamer noted that while he sympathized with the man’s situation, such behavior was unprofessional and unexpected — especially from someone with such academic qualifications.
