Peller Goes Viral After Offering ₦500K Monthly Salary for Cameraman Role

Content creator Peller has set social media buzzing after he announced he’s hiring a cameraman—and is willing to pay a whopping ₦500,000 per month.

In a humorous yet pointed video, Peller directly addressed unemployed Nigerians, urging them to stop complaining and take advantage of the opportunity.

“Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Pella. So, for all of you that is jobless, I don’t guess any job. Me, I need a cameraman,” he said.

Reacting to common complaints about job scarcity in Nigeria, he added:
“All of you saying job no dey Nigeria—now job don dey o! E remain to reach your hand.”

To show he was serious, Peller emphasized the pay:
“I’ll be paying the person ₦500,000 a month.”

He invited interested candidates to reach out for details and attend a screening session on Friday:
“Just text me, I will give you address where you’ll come on Friday. I need just 20 people. Out of the 20 people, maybe we’ll choose two.”

In a sarcastic jab at the country’s job market, he said:
“Please, if you are coming, bring your Master’s certificate… Because if na bank job you wan go wey dem go dey pay you ₦60,000 salary, you go dey carry bouncer, you go dey waka like werey for street.”

He again stressed the pay:
“₦500,000—na me go dey pay you ₦500,000!”

Peller urged people to act quickly and share the information:
“Text me now or comment. Somebody that you know needs this, please don’t hesitate to share to your friend.”

While the offer is open to both men and women, he jokingly added:
“I will prefer a woman so that if you carry my money go out quick, I will catch her!”
