Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche, has decried the deepening hardship in Nigeria, describing the country as being under a dangerous spiritual spell.

In a strongly worded message, Enenche said the nation is covered by a “blanket of sorcery and darkness,” with many citizens silently enduring poverty and suffering.

“There’s a blanket of sorcery and darkness over this nation; an evil spell making people tolerate what should provoke outrage,” he wrote.

He further pointed out that the level of suffering is unprecedented, revealing that after church services, more members now line up seeking material assistance instead of prayers.

“People are suffering. Pastors are drained. Members now queue after service not for prayer, but for help,” he stated.

Enenche criticized the government for ignoring the crisis, calling their indifference abnormal and demonic.

“Yet, the leaders act as though nothing is wrong. This is not normal. It is witchcraft. A spell of patience in captivity. A demonic tolerance of suffering,” he lamented.

The cleric then called for divine intervention, declaring: “Let every evil spell over this land be broken! Let those misruling with arrogance and mocking the people’s pain face divine judgment. They shall not see the celebration of their wickedness.”
