Orji Kalu Mourns Buhari, Hails Late President’s Legacy of Honour and Sacrifice

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a man of honour, humility, and selfless service to Nigeria.
In an emotional tribute on Sunday, the senator representing Abia North said Buhari’s contributions to the country’s growth—particularly in the areas of national unity and infrastructure development—would be remembered for generations.
“I am deeply saddened by the loss of our former President Muhammadu Buhari. He was a man of honour, humility, and sacrifice. His contributions to the growth and unity of Nigeria, especially in strengthening our national infrastructure, will never be forgotten,” Kalu said.
He extended condolences on behalf of the people of Abia North to Buhari’s hometown of Daura, the Daura Emirate, the government and people of Katsina State, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Urging them to find solace in the impactful life the late president lived, Kalu prayed: “May God grant him eternal rest, and may God grant the family and the nation the strength to bear the great loss.”
