In a historic moment for Nigerian athletics, Ese Brume, Ruth Usoro, and Oluchi Ochonogor have all qualified for the final of the women’s long jump at the Paris Olympics.

This unprecedented achievement sets the stage for a thrilling final.

Brume, Bronze medalist at the Tokyo Olympics leaped 6.76 metres in the qualification to finish second behind USA’s Tara Davids Woodhall with 6.90 metres.
