Oba Rashidi Ladoja To Be Crowned 44th Olubadan Of Ibadanland On September 26, 2025
The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, is set to be crowned the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025, PUNCH Online has learned.
Sources revealed that his nomination received approval from Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
It was also gathered that a state delegation met with Ladoja and members of the Olubadan-In-Council at his Bodija residence on Wednesday.
Confirming the development to PUNCH Online, Adeola Oloko, media aide to the Olubadan-designate, said:
“Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the historic Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital.”
Ladoja had met with the kingmakers at his residence on Tuesday ahead of the coronation.
