NYSC Posting and Relocation is Free – Officials

The Assistant Director, Deployment and Relocation unit of the NYSC in Lagos State, Mr. Kayode Osinubi, has told 2024 Batch “A” Stream II Prospective Corps Members that posting of corps members by the scheme to place of primary assignment is free and should not bring about any payment to anyone.
He stated this while delivering the Deployment and Relocation lecture at the ongoing 2024 Batch “A” Stream II Orientation Course at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja.

Mr. Osinubi also advised the Prospective Corps Members to immediately report to their places of assignment after posting to enable them to settle down.
WHERE NYSC CAN’T POST CORPS MEMBERS
On Areas of areas of posting, he said corps members will not be posted to some areas such as Oil companies, multinationals, and the banking sector. He added that they would only be posted to where the policy of the scheme approves.
About medical Corps members, he said all medical personnel are not allowed to work in a Private establishment but in government facilities where their services will be needed.
Informing the Prospective Corps Members about relocation, he said corps members will access a relocation form online where they can relocate on marital grounds, medical grounds and other grounds considered important.
