The sporting event officially began with a ceremonial serve performed by the Camp Director, Mrs. Itoha Ehimwema, who stood in for the State Coordinator, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, to declare the games open.
Day one of the competition featured intense matchups between Platoon 8 and Platoon 4 in volleyball, table tennis, and badminton — setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling contest.
In the female volleyball showdown, Platoon 8 clinched a solid 2-0 victory, narrowly edging out Platoon 4 in the first set 25-23 before dominating the second 25-15.
