NYSC Lagos Camp Holds First Religious Session

The 2024 Batch “B” Stream I Orientation Course at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja has begun with a robust start, following yesterday’s commencement. Today, the camp has come alive with a full-day schedule, starting with Morning Meditation, followed by the first religious session.
In a show of religious tolerance and inclusivity, Muslim corps members observed their first Fajr prayer in the camp mosque, while Christian corps members also held their worship service. The NYSC has ensured that all recognized religious bodies on camp are respected and accommodated, upholding the corps members’ religious rights.
This development highlights the NYSC’s commitment to fostering a harmonious and inclusive environment, where corps members from diverse religious backgrounds can thrive and serve the nation together.
