NYSC Lagos And Hypo Join Forces To Combat Cholera

In a bid to intensify efforts against the spread of cholera, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Lagos State chapter has partnered with Hypo Toilet Cleaner, a renowned brand, to launch a comprehensive campaign.
This collaboration builds on their successful partnership in the “Toilet Restoration Project”, which saw the renovation of hundreds of toilets in Lagos to combat open defecation.
The campaign, aimed at promoting good hygiene practices, emphasizes the importance of regular handwashing, proper food handling and storage, and prompt reporting of suspected cholera cases.
Corps members and residents are encouraged to take an active role in preventing the spread of cholera, which remains a significant public health concern.
Through this initiative, NYSC Lagos and Hypo seek to educate and empower communities to adopt preventive measures, ultimately reducing the incidence and impact of cholera. This partnership demonstrates their shared commitment to promoting public health and well-being, aligning with the NYSC’s mission to drive community development and social impact.
By joining forces, NYSC Lagos and Hypo aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Lagos residents, ensuring a healthier and safer environment for all.
