The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General YD Ahmed has called on all Prospective corps members of the 2024 Batch B stream II orientation course all over the Nation to thoroughly acquaint themselves with the NYSC Bye-Laws.
He emphasized that these regulations, which are readily available in both hard and soft copies, as well as on the official NYSC website, contain crucial information to guide them throughout their service year.

Meanwhile, addressing the prospective corps members posted to Lagos at the Iyana Ipaja camp, the State Coordinator, Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa, while welcoming them to Lagos State, congratulated them on the successes recorded in their academic pursuits and enjoined them to open their eyes to the opportunities in Lagos State.

She pointed out that the in-camp training alone may not suffice to make them job creators or wealth builders.
Mrs. Baderinwa equally highlighted the importance of adhering to the acceptable dress code, reminding them that their uniform is incomplete without the NYSC cap.
The State Coordinator warned against the use, sale, or transportation of illicit drugs, stating that anyone caught would face severe consequences.
