NYSC 2024 Batch “A” Stream II Kicks off in Lagos Camp

Today marks the commencement of the 21-day Orientation Course for the 2024 Batch “A” Stream II of the National Youth Service Corps in camps nationwide. The Lagos Camp is set to accommodate and oversee the training of nearly 3,000 Corps Members over three weeks.

A statement by the NYSC’s spokesperson, Eddy Megwa, also disclosed that the scheme Mobilised 103,000 Corps Members For 2024 Stream 2.
According to a statement by NYSC Lagos, “As notable of NYSC Lagos State, Prospective Corps Members are being received into the Camp, undergoing different layers of Camp registrations”.

“As common to new entrants to new environment, Prospective Corps Members anxieties have been reduced at the entrance of the Camp, where they are being received into the Camp with warmth”.
“While the camp environment was fumigated before the commencement of the Course, today, Livful Company Limited, donated 3,000 sachets of mosquito repellent to the management, to be distributed to the Corps Members resident in Camp” the statement added.

It added that as Prospective Corps Members’ registration for 2024 Batch “A” Stream II is going on, the allocation of hostel accommodation and distribution of kits are ongoing simultaneously.
“The Camp is almost in full strappings, Lagos Camp has risen on its feets again!”
