A prolific writer and political Analyst, Comr Nwede Chinonso Martin-Ede has congratulated Hon Justice Festus Obande Ogbuinya CON on his elevation from the Court of Appeal to the apex court and his swearing-in as the substantive Judge at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja.
Nwede, A special Assistant on Documentation and Culture to the Deputy Speaker, of Ebonyi State House of Assembly described the appointment of Hon Justice Obande as a square peg in a square hole adding that, with his unprecedented experience in the legal field, he is confident that he would add value to Supreme Court and contribute immensely in dispensing of cases in the Court.

He described Justice Obande Festus Ogbuinya as a renowned jurist, an honest man with high repute, a phenomenal of sort, incorruptible, unassuming, cerebral, and intelligent jurist whose antecedents, disposition, pedigree, and acumen stand him tall in the Nigeria Law System.
Nwede Chinonso Martin-Ede who attributed the success story of Justice Obande Festus Ogbuinya to God, expressed gratitude to God for making an Ngbo become a Judge at Supreme Court and thanked Justice Obande whom he said was like a mentor to him for his love, advice, support and eulogies. He prayed to God to give him the wisdom and wherewithal to discharge his legal assignment with strict adherence to the ethics guiding the office. He however encouraged him to use his position to effect the lives of the Ngboejeogu people and Ebonyians.
Recall that Hon Justice Obande Festus Ogbuinya CON from Umuogudu Akpu Ngbo, in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, was last year nominated alongside others as Supreme Court Judge by the National Judicial Council and subsequently confirmed by the National Assembly followed by President assent, hence the swearing-in today 26th February 2024 by Chief Judge of Nigeria, as substantive Supreme Court Judges.
