Chief Christian Asaga Nwali, PhD, has honoured the 2025 August Women Assembly organized by the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish, Enyibichiri, Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State.
The event, which drew women from across the parish, marked the climax of the annual August gathering, a tradition among Catholic women in the South-East.
Arc. Chief Asaga, was represented by the Woman Leader of the C-Sagas Charity Foundation, Hon. Mrs Igwe Margaret Ngozi. She led a delegation of women to the grand finale of the event.

The Foundation praised Chief Asaga and his wife, Dr. Mrs Irene Ugochi Nwali, for their continuous support toward rural development and empowerment of women and children across Ebonyi State.
This year’s theme, “Women Who Inspire for Change,” is in line with the vision of Ebonyi State’s First Lady, Chief Mrs Uzoamaka Nwifuru.
The Foundation commended her efforts in positioning Ebonyi women for greater recognition and leadership in society.

The delegation also emphasized the need for love, unity, and peace in families and communities, noting that these are essential for societal growth. The Church was urged to continue playing its role in promoting moral values and orderliness.
