Tragedy has reportedly hit the Nollywood industry following the sudden death of popular actor and producer, Kayode Peters.

The news was shared by entertainment blogger Cutie Juls in an Instagram post on Friday, stating that the filmmaker passed away in Canada in the early hours of the day. The circumstances surrounding his death have not been made public.

“Sad, Kayode Peters, movie actor and producer, passed away in Canada this morning. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the post read.

As of now, the reports have not been confirmed by Peters’ close friends or colleagues in the industry, leaving fans anxiously awaiting an official statement.
