NFF President Ibrahim Gusau Visits Injured Taiwo Awoniyi in UK

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, has visited injured Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi in the United Kingdom, where the Nottingham Forest forward is currently recuperating.
Gusau met with Awoniyi at his home in a show of support, praising the player’s commitment to the national team and reaffirming the NFF’s dedication to player welfare on and off the field.
Awoniyi, a key figure for both club and country, is on the path to full recovery and is expected to return to action in the coming months. His absence has been noticeable in recent Super Eagles matches, with fans eagerly awaiting his comeback.
The visit comes as the national team gears up for upcoming AFCON qualifiers and other international fixtures.
