NCAA Urges Ibom Air Passengers To Share Eyewitness Accounts In Comfort Emmanson Incident

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has appealed to passengers who were aboard the Ibom Air Uyo–Lagos flight (IAN513) with Comfort Emmanson to come forward with firsthand accounts of what happened during the incident.
Mike Achimugu, NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, made the call in a post on X, stressing the need to hear all sides of the story.
“Any person who was a passenger on that Ibom Air Uyo-Lagos flight (IAN513) and witnessed the events that led to the fracas should, as a matter of urgency and fairness, reach out to me via DM or michael.achimugu@ncaa.gov.ng,” he wrote.
“Once verified that you were actually a passenger on that flight, we can discuss and try to understand other perspectives to this issue. In the interest of justice and fairness, it is necessary to hear both sides of the story.”
Emmanson was involved in a confrontation with Ibom Air staff, prompting security officials to escort her off the aircraft.
