NCAA Meets Ibom Air Passenger Comfort Emmanson, Crew Over Ongoing Investigation

Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson has met with Mike Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), as part of an ongoing investigation into her recent incident with the airline.

Achimugu confirmed the development in a post on X, where he also disclosed that NCAA officials met with Ibom Air representatives to move the investigation toward a conclusion.

He stated that on Tuesday in Abuja, the NCAA team met with crew member Julie Edwards and other staff involved in the case. The Authority’s directorates of Aviation Security; Operations, Licensing, and Training Standards; Legal; and Consumer Protection are jointly handling the probe to ensure a thorough resolution.

Achimugu added that Emmanson met with the NCAA later in the day, accompanied by her lawyer.
