NAHCON Announces 2025 Hajj Fare, Southern Pilgrims to Pay ₦8.7 Million Naira

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the official fare for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage. Southern pilgrims will pay ₦8.7 million, while those from Borno and Adamawa zones will pay ₦8.3 million.
The chairman of the commission, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, made this known through a statement released on Monday in Abuja by NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Fatima Usara.
According to the statement, intending pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay ₦8.4 million for the journey to Saudi Arabia. The fare was said to be determined after consultations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrim boards.
Usman described the process as inclusive one, ensuring that all concerns were considered before reaching the final decision. He advised intending pilgrims to register early and adhere to Saudi Arabia’s guidelines for a smooth experience.
NAHCON hammered on the importance of timely payments to avoid last-minute rush and potential difficulties. The commission also directed pilgrims to visit its official website or contact their respective state welfare boards for further details.
