My Curse Will Follow You —Lalude Blasts Tinubu Over Unpaid Campaign Deals

Veteran Nollywood actor, Lalude, has publicly accused MC Oluomo, the president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), of failing to honour commitments made to him and other entertainers who campaigned for President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 general elections.
According to DAILY POST, numerous prominent figures from the Nigerian entertainment industry—including Toyin Abraham, Alapini, Olaiye Igwe, Lege Miami, Eniola Badmus, and Seyi Law—actively supported the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Tinubu’s presidential bid.
In a video circulating on social media, Lalude expressed deep frustration over what he described as unfulfilled financial pledges made by MC Oluomo, who coordinated their participation.
“My colleagues and I campaigned vigorously for President Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu, yet we did not receive a single kobo after the election,” Lalude lamented.
“We abandoned our own work for a month and three weeks to campaign. MC Oluomo personally asked Alapini and me to state what we wanted as compensation. We did, but he never kept his word.”
Lalude concluded with a stern warning: “My curse will follow those who are sitting on that money for the rest of their lives.”
