Music Isn’t a Job, It’s Life – Burna Boy Declares

Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has revealed that he doesn’t view music as a job but as a way of life.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, the ‘Odogwu’ crooner said he loves being a musician so much that he sees no need for vacations, unlike people in more physically demanding professions.
“I love my job. I don’t consider my job a job. I consider it life. Why do I need a vacation from life?” he said.
Burna Boy added, “It’s not like I am a bricklayer or labourer. That’s what you need vacation from. Not when you’re Burna Boy. My job is literally a lifestyle. It’s what I would wish to do if I wasn’t doing it. So, why would I want a vacation from that? Unless I’m old or have a kid. I don’t even have a kid. There’s nothing I’m vacationing for.”
The artist’s remarks reflect his deep passion for music and the fulfillment he finds in his career.
