Mr Ibu’s Family Pays Emotional Tribute One Year After His Burial

The family of late Nollywood legend, Mr Ibu, has paid a touching tribute to him one year after he was laid to rest.
His wife, Stella Maris, alongside their children, took to social media to honour his memory, expressing how deeply they miss him and the lasting impact he made on their lives and the lives of many others.
Mr Ibu, whose real name was John Okafor, passed away on March 2, 2024, following a prolonged battle with health issues. His death left a deep void in the Nigerian entertainment industry, with fans and colleagues mourning the loss of one of the most beloved comic actors.
In a video posted to her Instagram page, Stella Maris was seen with their children in a solemn moment of remembrance. She wrote in an emotional caption:
“One year you were laid to rest 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 we miss you so much 😭😭😭 continue to rest in peace. Amen 🙏 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭”
