Mercy Aigbe’s Film ‘Thin Line’ Crosses ₦100 Million in Cinema Revenue

Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe’s latest movie, Thin Line, has hit an impressive milestone, earning ₦100 million in cinemas just three weeks after its release.
The film, which premiered nationwide on December 13, 2024, has been well-received by audiences.
Cinemax, the film’s distributor, announced the achievement on Instagram, thanking viewers for their support. “Over ₦100 million, and it’s all because of you. Thank you all for your love and support,” the post read.
Mercy Aigbe also expressed her gratitude to fans for watching the movie despite challenges. “Against all odds, against all the challenges, my amazing movie Thin Line is still thriving and standing tall,” she shared.
Thin Line, co-produced by Aigbe and Kazim Adeoti, follows the story of Raymond, a well-known preacher celebrated for his teachings on relationships and marriage.
His life takes a dark turn after an encounter with Annie, a desperate prostitute, which leads to blackmail and a battle to save his ministry.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Uzor Arukwe, Iyabo Ojo, Olaiya Igwe, The Cute Abiola, and Jaiye Kuti. Other notable names include Adeniyi Johnson, Yvonne Jegede, Uche Montana, Nkechi Blessing, and Motilola Akinlami.
