Media Influencer Verydarkman Labels Benue State Nigeria’s Most Underdeveloped

Controversial social media personality, Verydarkman, has sparked widespread reactions after branding Benue State as the most underdeveloped place he has ever visited.
In a video that quickly went viral, the influencer claimed the state appeared stuck in the past.
“Benue is still in the year 1940. It is the most underdeveloped state I have ever been to,” he declared.
He criticized the state’s poor infrastructure and rising insecurity, arguing that such conditions were driving away investors.
“Investors can’t come because of bad roads and insecurity,” he said.
Verydarkman also revealed he was funding a borehole project in Yelwata but said work had stalled because locals feared for their safety.
“I’m currently drilling a borehole in Yelwata, but the people can’t continue the work because they are afraid of being killed,” he added.
