Man Arrested for Alleged Rape of 12-Year-Old Girl in Bauchi

20-year-old resident of Misau Local government has been arrested for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl by NSCDC, Operatives of Bauchi State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps.
Ibrahim Sadiq, the accuser, was arrested after he allegedly took the victim to uncompleted building and raping her.
In a press statement confirming his arrest, the Command’s spokesman, Saminu J Yusuf revealed that Sadiq was arrested on 27th December 2024 by a personnel of the agency in Misau.
“On 27th DEC, 2024 at Misau Local Government, One Ibrahim Saudiq, Male 20 yrs of Misau, was arrested By NSCDC Personnel, for having forcefully carnal knowledge of A 12 yrs old in an uncompleted building”. Rape
The spokesman stated that the suspect confessed to committing the crime under interrogation. The command will prosecute him pending the conclusion of the ongoing investigation in the Rape.
