LASU Reveals e-meeting platform

The Lagos State University has unveiled a cutting-edge application, “LASU Talkspace,” designed to facilitate e-conferences, e-meetings, and e-seminars.
The innovative platform, developed by the university’s Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, headed by Toyin Enikuomehin, aims to provide a reliable and secure alternative to popular virtual meeting tools like Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
A statement by DICT said, “Approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the LASU Talkspace App is now available for use by the university community and the general public.
“Members of staff can access the platform free of charge, using their official LASU staff email address
The general public can also utilise the LASU Talkspace App by subscribing to the service and paying the stipulated fee, which varies depending on the category of services required.”
It added that the introduction of LASU Talkspace underscored the university’s commitment to embracing technology and fostering a more connected and collaborative community.
