Lagos Corps Members Enlightened on Service Innovation

The NYSC Lagos Desk Officer for Service Innovation, Reforms unit,Miss Odimayo Adebola has enlightened the 2024 Batch B Stream II Corps members on the importance of service innovation in today’s competitive landscape.
During the lecture held at the Lagos Camp, Odimayo emphasized the crucial role of critical thinking in driving innovation.
She encouraged corps members to develop their analytical skills, objectively evaluate information, and draw reasonable conclusions.

By applying these critical thinking skills, Miss Adebola explained, corps members are expected to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions in their service year and beyond.
She drew a curtain on the session with an overview of the major benefits of innovation, including the promotion of creativity, evaluation of new ideas and continuous improvement.
Adebola also advised the corps members to remain focused, determined, and consistent in their pursuit of innovative thinking. She stressed that these skills would not only benefit them during their service year but also in their future careers.
