Ka3na Slams Celebrities for Faking Pregnancies, Advocates for Surrogacy Transparency

Reality TV star Ka3na has called out celebrities who fake baby bumps instead of being open about their use of surrogacy.
In a recent Instagram post, she urged public figures—especially women—to embrace honesty in their motherhood journeys, stating that surrogacy is a valid and empowering option.
“Dear Nigerian public figures (especially women), we are privileged to be more informed, more exposed, and better travelled. With that comes the responsibility to be honest with our followers,” she wrote.
Ka3na stressed that there’s no shame in surrogacy, pointing out that a child born through the process is “100% yours.” She questioned why some celebrities mislead fans by pretending to be pregnant.
Using herself as an example, she revealed that she had a traumatic pregnancy that left her fearful of going through it again. If she chooses to have another child, she said she would opt for surrogacy.
“And for the record,” she added, “many of us mothers can see through the act. You’re not pregnant, and that’s okay. But the lie? It’s unnecessary.”
She encouraged fellow celebrities to use their platforms to spread truth that helps others, rather than creating misleading narratives.
