Jim Iyke Sends Bold, Unfiltered Birthday Message to Kate Henshaw

Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has sparked a wave of reactions with a daring and deeply personal birthday tribute to fellow screen star Kate Henshaw.
In a post shared on social media to mark her 54th birthday, Jim opened with the unexpected line: “FK YOU KATE”** — a provocative expression he used repeatedly throughout the message, not as insult, but as a raw and unfiltered declaration of admiration, frustration, and affection.
Reflecting on their early years in Nollywood, Jim recounted how Henshaw treated him like a younger brother despite knowing he harbored romantic feelings for her. He shared memories of how she looked out for him when he was just 23—alerting him to auditions, slipping him cash for transport and meals, and always offering support.
“You kept manipulating my black ass by always looking out for me… Every time I stared into those dancing, beautiful eyes of yours, you knew I had imaginations that were far from friendly,” he wrote. “Our love child would have been in their mid-twenties by now if you had let me experiment with my seed just a couple of times.”
Jim went on to humorously lament that when the opportunity finally came for them to be intimate, he was already too deep into fame, chaos, and poor choices. “You knew I had a great heart, but I was just crazy and dumb,” he admitted, while expressing disappointment that Henshaw eventually moved on and married a foreigner—an “Oyibo”—with whom she had a beautiful child.
He also blamed her, tongue-in-cheek, for setting unrealistic beauty standards for younger women, claiming her natural looks and unwavering dedication have driven many to extreme measures trying to replicate her appearance.
“Poor darlings have had to BBL it, snatch it, tuck it, needle it, botox it… even voodoo that sh*t to no avail. Nature, commitment, and sacrifice didn’t create it. It can’t be manufactured. It’s a Kate Henshaw world.”
Despite the bold tone, Jim ended his message on a heartfelt note, praising her as a phenomenal woman and a force of nature.
“You’re a phenomenal creature. A force of nature. Your wild boy loves you!”
The post has since gone viral, sparking both laughter and praise from fans who admired the honesty and emotional depth behind Jim’s unconventional tribute.
