Jane Mena Reveals She Almost Paid For Her Own Divorce Over Toxic Friendship

Popular dancer Jane Mena has opened up about a rocky moment in her marriage, revealing that a disagreement over a friend nearly ended things between her and her husband in 2019.
According to Jane, her husband had urged her to cut ties with a particular friend, but she refused. The disagreement escalated, and her husband even went as far as contacting a divorce lawyer. However, the high legal fees gave him pause.
In a humorous twist, Jane said she shouted from behind, offering to pay the lawyer herself.
She noted that the same lawyer still laughs whenever he sees them in Asaba.
Reflecting on the incident, Jane admitted that the friend in question eventually betrayed her, making her regret not listening to her husband’s advice.
Sharing the story on Instagram, Jane concluded with a playful message to her followers:
She wrote:
“The way I keep my life private, nobody knows. Plies and I had a very serious issue in the first year of our marriage in 2019 that had to do with him telling me to stop being friends with this person, and I said, “Never””It got so heated to the point he called his lawyer and said he wanted a divorce, lawyer billed him huge asap and he started asking for discounted price on top divorce and that’s how I shouted from behind, Lawyer, Abeg send your account details, I will send all the money”Anytime that lawyer sees us for Asaba, Na laughing is our greeting, and meanwhile, That “friend” disgraced me so badly that I wish I had listened to my husband’s advice. CHOOSE YOUR FAV SLIDE SHA”.
