JAMB Orders Candidates to Re-Upload 2025 WAEC Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates who uploaded their O-Level results before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) to return to accredited centres and re-upload the correct results.
The directive was contained in JAMB’s official bulletin shared on its X handle on Monday. According to the examination body, earlier uploads have been completely cleared from its system to ensure transparency in the ongoing admission process.
The Board explained: “Candidates who sat the UTME with awaiting results are required to upload their O’Level results as soon as they are released. Many began uploading the WAEC 2025 SSCE before the final results were released. To avoid any confusion, the Board cleared all prior uploads, and all candidates are now required to re-upload their results, whether or not they differ from the earlier results uploaded.”
JAMB further warned that failure to comply with the directive would disqualify candidates from admission consideration. “Please re-upload your 2025 SSCE result to the JAMB portal without delay,” the statement read.
The announcement has triggered mixed reactions among candidates, many of whom had rushed to upload their results earlier in compliance with admission guidelines.
When responding to a question from an X user, @Ndukaphilip43644, who asked about results uploaded before verification began, JAMB stood firm, advising: “You’re advised to please visit any of our accredited facilities to verify your result. Thank you.”
With this directive, all candidates are now expected to promptly visit JAMB-accredited centres nationwide to re-upload their WAEC results and avoid disruptions in their admission process.
