JAMB candidate rejects 149 UTME score

A Nigerian JAMB candidate has taken to social media to reject the result of her 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), after she was reportedly told she scored 149—despite a score of 297 in the mock exam.
The candidate, with the X (formerly Twitter) username @Midettw, shared her frustration in a series of posts, claiming that the result does not reflect her true performance.
According to her, she studied rigorously, practiced consistently, and went into the exam fully prepared.
She stated that during her Computer-Based Test (CBT) practices—including platforms like Test Driller—she consistently scored above 280.
She wrote: “Throughout all my CBT practice tests, including Test Driller and others, I consistently scored above 280, never dropping to the 100s. However, my official result is now showing 149. @JAMBHQ, please review and rectify this discrepancy. #THISISNOTMYRESULT.”
In another post, she added: “I checked my results this morning expecting 300+ but was shocked to see 149, with my highest being Chemistry (44). I don’t know what’s going on, but I do know.”
Her posts have sparked mixed reactions online, with many calling on JAMB to investigate the claim and ensure the integrity of the results.
