Jamal Musiala Suffers Suspected Broken Ankle in Bayern vs PSG Clash
Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has suffered a serious injury, with initial reports indicating a suspected broken ankle during his side’s Club World Cup quarter-final match against Paris Saint-Germain on Friday, July 5, 2025, in Atlanta.
The incident occurred late in the first half after Musiala collided with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The 21-year-old playmaker went down in visible pain and had to be stretchered off the pitch, clutching both his head and chest, while concerned teammates gathered around him.
According to early medical assessments, Musiala may have sustained a fractured ankle or fibula, though a full diagnosis is still pending further scans and hospital evaluation.
The injury is a major blow for both Bayern Munich and the German national team, as Musiala has been a key figure in both squads with his creativity and attacking flair.
