Israel Launches Devastating Airstrikes on Iran, Targets Nuclear Sites and Top Military Officials

The escalating conflict between Israel and Iran reached a new height on June 13, 2025, as Israel launched a large-scale airstrike targeting over 100 sites across Iran, including critical nuclear facilities and key military installations in Tehran.
According to multiple reports, the coordinated assault resulted in widespread destruction, leaving at least 78 people dead and 329 others injured.
Among the casualties were top Iranian military figures, including Major General Mohammad Bagheri and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Hossein Salami, both of whom were reportedly killed during the strikes.
The attack has triggered intense global reactions, with social media flooded by calls for de-escalation. Many have urged international bodies to step in and mediate the worsening tensions before they spiral into a full-scale war.
Diplomatic efforts are now under pressure to prevent further bloodshed, as fears mount over the broader regional implications of the ongoing hostilities.
