ISPON Urges Corps Members to Prioritize Safety

Lagos State Coordinator for the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), Mrs. Kate Eke has imparted valuable knowledge to the 2024 Batch “A” Stream II Corps Members during their orientation at the NYSC Camp in Iyana-Ipaja.

She emphasized the importance of caution, safety, and self-protection throughout their service year, urging them to be vigilant against any potential dangers.
She provided them with an overview of the institute, a program implemented for corps members across all 36 states in Nigeria, aimed at enhancing safety in workplaces.
Additionally, it serves as a training hub for safety professionals (ISPON) in the country.
She called on the Lagos corps members to prioritize adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, aiming to minimize accidents while enhancing productivity and efficiency.

Eke offered counsel to the corps members, urging them to stay updated on safety guidelines, adhere to safety protocols, seek assistance in times of peril, safeguard their possessions, and refrain from sharing passwords or engaging with unfamiliar individuals.
