Hopes and Fear for 2025: Nigerians Shares thought on Global Outlook

In a developing nation like Nigeria, Food Insecurity, Poverty and Inequality are major national issues that continues to drag the economic stability backward.
Mamlosho Muhammad Awwal, a 300level student of political science, Al-hikmah University narrated that inequality and poverty has been the current pressing challenge not only in Nigeria but the global world at large especially in the global southern nations.
Mamalosho who is a resident of Ilorin , Kwara state Nigeria told Asiwaju media about the economic instability in Nigeria which was led by inequality and corruption in the Global system.
“Regarding the current global issues, One should thought of nothing than inequality and corruption that has rotten the political system of many nation states.
“Inequality and poverty is one of the issues facing every country regarding their standard and their well-being. While future anticipation should be investment”he stated.
Addressing Food Insecurity is of high necessity – Jaafar Ibrahim
Ibrahim Muhammad Jafaar, a resident of Lagos state prioritize Food. He explain that food Insecurity as a major challenge in the Global economy.
“Food insecurity is a pressing challenge and the need to addressing it is of high necessity, Addressing food Insecurity will lessen the high inflation rate” he advised
Unlike Mamalosho, Abdulbasit huzaifah, a graduate of Plant Science, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto believed that the federal and state system of each nation states should focus on addressing issues like climate actions and energy transition and as well as renewable energy .
“Climate insecurity has been a challenge over the years especially in sub saharan Africans and Nigeria, the government should focus on addressing this and as well budget a fine amount on education and agriculture compared to previous years, also find ways to subsidize fuel price a little, which might reduce the sufferness in the country” he added
For Huzaifah, The menace of climate change in sub saharan Africa nations should be addressed, To have a more efficient resources, The agricultural sector must be well funded in a bid to addressing societal needs.
