Hilda Baci has announced that her record-breaking attempt to cook the largest pot of jollof rice will require 250 bags of rice.

In a video, she detailed the calculations behind the massive project, highlighting its unprecedented scale. The cooking feat is scheduled for September 12, 2025, using a pot six meters wide and six meters tall.

Hilda Baci wrote: The biggest question since I announced this — HOW MUCH RICE? Jollof this big doesn’t happen without math. From raw rice to tomato paste, every grain counts!
