Governor Alia Submits First Batch Of Commissioner Nominees To Benue Assembly

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has submitted the first list of commissioner nominees to the Benue State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation, in accordance with constitutional requirements.
The move represents a key step toward strengthening governance and improving service delivery across the state.
The first batch of nominees includes:
- Hon. Theresa Odachi Ikwue
- Hon. Dr. Benjamin Ashaver
- Hon. Dr. Adamu Margaret Ijaguwa
- Hon. Dr. Peter Oboh Egbodo
- Dr. Yangien Timothy Ornguga
- Hon. Denis Iyaighgba
- Hon. James Dwem
- Dr. Paul Ejeh Ogwuche
A second batch of nominees is expected to be submitted in the coming days.
Governor Alia emphasized his administration’s commitment to competence, inclusivity, and transparency in selecting individuals who will help drive his developmental agenda for Benue State.
