Former Benin and Nigeria-Born Striker Razak Omotoyossi Dies

Razak Omotoyossi, the former striker born in Nigeria who chose to represent Benin, has passed away, sending shockwaves across the African football community.
Omotoyossi was one of Benin’s greatest-ever players, scoring 21 goals in 55 international appearances. He was married to Nollywood actress Bose Alao, and the couple are blessed with children.
According to sources, Omotoyossi had been struggling with depression following the loss of part of his house to fire a few months ago.
May his soul rest in peace.
