Fido’s Career Soars with Viral Song ‘Joy is Coming’
Fast-rising Nigerian singer Fido, whose real name is Awosika Olayemi Josiah, continues to make waves in 2025 with his inspirational single, Joy Is Coming.
Released months ago, the song has remained a favorite, spreading hope and positivity among Nigerians as they embrace the new year.
Fido, a native of Matogun in Ogun State, first gained national attention in 2024 with his debut hit, Awolowo. His unique sound and heartfelt lyrics have helped him build a loyal fanbase and recognition in the music industry.
Recently, the singer shared a proud moment with fans in a meeting with internationally renowned artist Wizkid at a nightclub in Lagos.
In a new-viral clip, Wizkid is seen warmly embracing Fido before whispering something in his ear. The encounter left fans buzzing with excitement.
Sharing the video on Instagram, an ecstatic Fido captioned it: “FIDO & BIGWIZ Oloun o connect!” The post has sparked speculation among fans about potential collaborations between the two artists.
