FG Approves ₦712 Billion For Renovation Of Lagos International Airport

The federal government has approved a ₦712 billion renovation project for the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the State House in Abuja and chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Keyamo revealed that the airport’s terminal will be completely stripped to its structural frame and rebuilt with modern mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

He added that the reconstruction is projected to span 22 months.
