Fati Vázquez, a 30-year-old influencer reportedly linked to Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, has revealed that she has received disturbing death threats amid rumors of a romantic relationship with the young football star.

Speculation began after both Vázquez and Yamal posted Instagram photos—just days apart—that appeared to have been taken at the same scenic location. According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Yamal shared images of himself on a boat with rocky cliffs in the background and relaxing by an infinity pool with a distinctive tree and canopy. Shortly after, Vázquez posted similar photos from different angles, including shots of her at the same pool and aboard a boat.

The visual similarities quickly led fans to connect the dots, sparking widespread rumors about a possible relationship between the two.

On Tuesday, Vázquez took to Instagram to address the backlash and threats she’s faced since the story went viral.

“It’s sad to see people who have such darkness inside that they wish death on someone they don’t even know,” she wrote. “What others project speaks more about them than me. I choose to live with the purpose of continuing to grow and surrounding myself with light.
