Family Of Five Perishes In Air India Flight 171 Crash While Relocating To London

What was meant to be a fresh start turned into a devastating end for a family of five who lost their lives in the Air India Flight 171 crash in Ahmedabad.
The tragedy, which has sent shockwaves across social media, claimed the lives of Pratik Joshi, a London-based software engineer, his wife Dr. Komi Vyas, and their three children. The family was en route to begin a new life together in the UK after years of living apart.
According to an update shared by X user The Skin Doctor, Joshi had spent six years working in London while his wife and kids remained in India. Their long-awaited reunion was finally within reach after receiving the green light for relocation.
In preparation for the move, Dr. Vyas, a respected physician based in Udaipur, had resigned from her job just two days before the flight. The family had packed up their lives, bid farewell to loved ones, and boarded the plane filled with hope.
Before takeoff, they snapped a joyful selfie on board and sent it to relatives — a final image of a family full of dreams. Tragically, those dreams were never realized. The aircraft crashed shortly after departure, leaving no survivors.
The heartbreaking story has resonated deeply online, as tributes pour in for a family whose pursuit of a brighter future ended in unimaginable sorrow.
