Enugu Native Doctor Ezeani Arrested While Fleeing After Bodies Found in Compound

Popular Enugu native doctor, High Chief Levi Onyeka Obu — also known as “Ezeani” and “E-Dey-Play-E-Dey-Show” — has been arrested while attempting to escape the country.
The self-proclaimed spiritualist, who had been on the run, was intercepted by the Nigerian Immigration Service at a land border as he tried to flee.
He had been declared wanted after the decomposing bodies of several kidnap victims, including a heavily pregnant woman, were discovered buried in his compound in Unojo, Umumba Ndi-Agu, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
In addition to the recovered bodies, authorities rescued a 13-year-old girl alive from the scene.
Security officials confirmed that Obu was taken into custody before he could leave Nigerian territory. A photo circulating online shows him handcuffed, marking the end of a manhunt that sparked outrage and fear across the region.
